About Burial

The Brand

Made slowly. Made deliberately.

Burial Standard was born from a quiet obsession with the permanence of form — the idea that a piece of jewellery should outlast the moment it was made for. Each piece is conceived by hand, refined over time, and finished with the kind of attention that commercial production cannot afford to give.

We work without seasonal urgency. There are no collections designed for trend cycles. There is only the work itself — unhurried, considered, and made to be worn for a lifetime.

Craftsmanship

Every mark is intentional.

Each piece begins as raw material — metal, wire, form — and is shaped entirely by hand. The surface of a Burial Standard piece carries the evidence of its making.

We believe the imperfection that comes from handwork is not a flaw. It is the proof that a person made this — that hours and decisions were poured into something small enough to wear on your finger.

Responsibility

Low impact. Long life.

We source materials consciously and produce in small quantities. Burial Standard does not overstock. When a piece is sold, another is made. Packaging is minimal and plastic-free. We do not participate in discount events. Our commitment is to making less, better.

The founder of Burial Standard
The Founder

Someone who loves design

Burial Standard was founded by a designer who grew up making things with their hands — first from found objects, then from metal. The brand carries that same restless need to make: to hold raw material and coax it into something that has never existed before.

We don't believe in following trends or conforming to norms. We believe in free expression of one's inner soul, whichever shape, size or colour it is. Hence the name: Burial Standard; burying the standards set by the society.

Mission

To make jewellery that people keep forever — not because it is expensive, but because it is theirs.

Vision

A world where handmade objects are valued above mass production — where slowness is a feature, not a constraint.
